OUR LOCATION

We are located in a rural setting in the hills above Barão de São João, Algarve, Portugal. The farm is situated on 6 hectares of private land, with a small lake and hiking trails into the hills from our backdoor. When we finalise arrangements for you to visit, stay or drop off, we will send you all the information on how to get here. Google maps doesn’t always get it correct!

VOLUNTEERING AT HAPPY BUDDY

We are always looking for helping hands at Happy Buddy, to come and volunteer on the farm with me and the pack. We can offer free room and board, in exchange for helping with dog sitting, walks, coordination with clients and social walks. If you are interested in coming to stay in the beautiful Portuguese Algarve and learning first-hand about the natural way of working with dogs and horses please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.
